Additional Policies:

• At Centered Mental Health, we prioritize patient safety and adhere to best practices in the assessment and treatment of conditions requiring stimulant medications.
• Initial Consultation:
• Stimulant medications (e.g., Adderall, Ritalin, Vyvanse) are not prescribed during the first visit.
• A comprehensive evaluation is conducted to understand your medical history, current symptoms, and overall health status.
• Potential Additional Evaluations:
• Depending on individual health profiles, we may recommend further assessments, which could include:
  • Electrocardiogram (EKG) to evaluate heart rhythm and detect any underlying cardiac conditions.
  • Laboratory tests are used to assess overall health and rule out other potential causes of symptoms.
• These measures align with recommendations from health authorities to ensure the safe initiation of stimulant therapy.
