- Initial Consultation:
- Stimulant medications (e.g., Adderall, Ritalin, Vyvanse) are not prescribed during the first visit.
- A comprehensive evaluation is conducted to understand your medical history, current symptoms, and overall health status.
- Potential Additional Evaluations:
- Depending on individual health profiles, we may recommend further assessments, which could include:
- Electrocardiogram (EKG) to evaluate heart rhythm and detect any underlying cardiac conditions.
- Laboratory tests are used to assess overall health and rule out other potential causes of symptoms.
- These measures align with recommendations from health authorities to ensure the safe initiation of stimulant therapy.
